April, I was so thrilled to find a bralette type of thing last year that's actually made for small band/large cup sizes, I think I've gotten carried away, thinking maybe there's finally a good racerback for me too! Haha!
Ah, the boring nude bra -- my husband is not a fan. I do have a couple of bras in black, and even a couple in shades of blue, that Wacoal made -- they are now discontinued so I will be SOL when those bras die. Good thing I stocked up when they were going away, as the pandemic started, so now I have a good number to rotate, to keep them from wearing out too fast.
I know I CANNOT be in such a small club of women who have these measurements that bra makers are flummoxed by our needs. I do laugh at how for years I wore a 34C or D, and that's when I was about 10-15 lbs smaller than I am now -- no wonder my bras always migrated up my back. But those were the sizes that were available!
R&J, Bravissimo seems to think I need a 28G based on the fit tests/comparisons with what I currently wear. Do you find their bands to be generously cut? I know I do not measure 28" at the moment (but my weight is slowly going down and some of my bands are a little loose, so maybe?). I guess that's what free returns are for!
