Quick TT military coat size question

Ideally, where should the hem of this coat end?

I received the 4P today but also ordered the 4R which will be here on Monday. I suspect both will fit well and the tie-breaker will simply be the length. The 4P hits just at mid-thigh but I think an inch or so more might be better.

Thoughts?

I loved that coat and without seeing a thing, I'd vote for the extra inch with the size 4R, but this is simply a virtual thought and the way I would process this personally. How does it fit in the shoulders and armpits? You may even get a bit more room, if necessary, with the next one coming. Hope you hear from somebody who's actually buying one. It's a beautiful coat!

Vicki, that's what I'm thinking. Surprisingly, the shoulders fit well in the 4P and that's an area I often find tight in coats/jackets. I'm wondering if that might mean the 4R is too big and I need to go to a 2R. Hm.

Colette, I think we're a similar height (I'm 5'5") and your coat is definitely failing longer on you. You look so, so amazing in it.
