I've been looking for a turtleneck I could wear tucked into skirts with tights for winter. I have a large bust though and turtlenecks can make me look bigger than I am. This one at macys seems to work? Buy or pass? Ignore the skirts, it's just for try-on purposes.

It looks like a good fit. I shy from t-necks because they emphasize bustiness - do you see this? I don't here, but you've got the mirror!

Don't hate me, but you do look quite busty in it. Is it ribbed? That can help I think . . . doesn't Macy's carry I.N.C.? I think those are the ones Angie wears.

EDIT: of course, I've only ever wanted to look bustier if anything, so I know zero about how to downplay one's bust

Yes, it's INC and ribbed. I have big boobs, no getting around that. I'm just wondering if this looks good-busty or bad-busty!

Edit: I would probably wear a long necklace , which can help.

I'd pass because of the shoulder seams. I think a straight seam on the arm hole would help considerably. I have the same issue.

I'd say no - this is me and my phobia of tight ribbed things. As I recall we are close in size and shape, and the combination of high neckline plus bust emphasis always keeps me away. HOWEVER, I have hang-ups that many others do not.

If you love it and need it and are not shy about this look...

ETA: Carter hit on it. It's the shoulder seams that are making the line there look off.

I generally avoid fitted, ribbed turtlenecks because I found those were the worst for making me look very chesty. I don't mind playing up the fact that I have a bust, but I'm also quite short-waisted, so fitted turtlenecks can really emphasize the bust in a not-good way.

I did recently buy a looser, lightweight tneck at Banana Republic. See the second photo in this link:

Agree on the pass. Boy, turtlenecks can be a challenge! I have completely the opposite problem but don't like how the way turtlenecks fit in the upper chest on me--there is no drape at all. So I keep turning them down.

I'm a busty IT and I avoid high necklines for that reason. Turtle necks hold no appeal for me.

But...Mo has a point. We want what we don't have. My best friend never gets it when I discard something that shows the girls. To each her own!

Since I'm late to the thread, I might as well flat out ignore instructions and say it: I loved the plaid skirt.

I think the 2nd one looks better, but very possibly because you didn't tuck and the skirt is a contrasting pattern. So we see all your lovely proportionate curves (there is nothing wrong with a bust!) whereas in the first outfit the bust was accentuated by the styling (I think). I don't have the eye for detail, seams etc that others have; I'm average busty, but short-waisted.
