Question about sizing of Halogen cropped flares

I am still agonizing about ordering the famous Halogen cropped flares. Size 6 or 8? True Size says size 8. I wear size 28, 29 and even size 30 in jeans. My jeans are 7s, Citizens, Levis, Fidelity and Silvers. I don't want these super tight. Also I am 5'7.5". Maybe they will be too short and I should just pass on them.

I can always order both sizes and return one. It is more expensive though.

Order the 8 before it sells out, 6 seems to be sold out.

I think the 8. I am a 29/30 in jeans and I was comfortable in a 10.

I just received them - agree if you are between sizes, go with the larger. The pointe is stretchy, but you wouldn't want to wear them tight. I found them TTS for me.

Style Fan -- call the Ottawa store and see if they stock them there. If so, they will likely have them. Most things (apart from Aquatalia booties) are not selling out as fast in Canada.

I agree with the 8 for you. You and I seem to be the same size and wear the same jeans sizes. I will say though that you might be right about them being a tad short for you . I am a good 2 1/2 inches shorter at 5'5" and would not want them any shorter.....

The waistband of the size 8 is about 16" to 16.25" when laid flat.

The fabric is really lovely, with a lot of stretch. These are very nice pants for the price.

Thanks everyone. Gretchen I agree that I would not want them tight. Sizing up is probably a good idea. Thanks Angie. Suz I called the Ottawa store. They are sold out. I waited too long. Now I am debating what to do. LisaP I think the size 8 is probably good but I don't want them too short. Thanks BrieN for the info. Now I wish I had acted faster.

Don't give up hope I see both the 8 and 10 for sale online in the US now.

Just double checking you've seen that the inseam for the size 8 is 25" as listed on the site. I measured the pair I have here and got a measurement about 1/4 inch longer FWIW.
