Can't think of a proper title. Yet, it could be several. Guess puzzled is best or perhaps Silly me. Also reading the post and responses on introverts has made me think more about this incident.
Several of you know that I do minor volunteer work and today was one of those days. I needed to shop for raspberry sherbet and have it on-site by 11:30. Now, I usually spend all Sunday morning, drinking coffee, etc, etc.
However, I was pleased and looking forward to my errand this AM. I set my alarm clock for 7:15 am, had early coffee, dressed and out the door by 9:00am. I wore a very comfortable, two tone denim, button front, swingy dress. Younger people have complimented me on it. My hair. was neat and I had light makeup. Oh, and I love my new Born loafers I wore. They are denim color, white and tan.
Anyway, the raspberry sherbet was not easy to locate, as I had been warned.
As I was going into the third grocery store (beginning to feel slightly panicky and wishing I had started earlier) an older gentleman was coming out and i smiled at him as I do everybody. He yawned. Do any of you have any comment how you would have felt, had this been you?
They had the sherbet at this store, I purchased it and had it delivered at 10:45am. BTW, this was for a reception for a woman in her seventies getting married her first time!
