If anyone is in the market for a nice summer dress that can be dressed up or down, I saw this in Nordstrom yesterday and really liked it. In fact, I might go ahead and buy it since summer dresses that are long enough are a rare find. It's a silk blend that seems quite comfortable and has a little bit of stretch. Nicely made.
The front zips up, so for those like me with a bit bustier build or a shorter neck, you can zip open the neckline a bit for a more flattering effect, and that also casualizes it a bit too. It's longer on me than on the model -- the high-low hem hits me *just* below the knee. It is just slightly long in the torso on me, which means it should fit a short-to-medium waisted person quite well (I would just need the shoulders taken up about an inch). I typically wear a 6 or 8 in dresses, and this fit well in an 8 -- a little roomy in the top, but the shoulder alteration would actually fix that.
I'm thinking this could be fab with flat or heeled black strappy sandals and a white jacket for summer.
ETA: pics of it on me. Shoulder is pinned up.
