PSA Cotton Cargo Pants, lightweight

I ordered this in the beige, it is actually a warm light-med brown. Uniqlo has very spare colour references. Go with the photo colour.
These are in a spring or summer weight cotton, decent quality, elastic waist and drawstring. Did not shrink, so TTS.
Inexpensive way to get in on this trend.

Ooh a tip in which I can participate, thanks! I agree the Uniqlo website colours suck - I only ever shop them in-person due to this.

These look like they could be great for casual summertime hikes (which TBH is what most of my hiking consists of these days, lol).

We are taking off in the motorhome soon and these are going with, along with the Aritzia cargoes. Very good for the hikes with dogs, Zaeobi!
Yes, the Uniqlo colourways are often lovely and mesh with each other, but the descriptions are one word and oft times way off the mark.
Jules, the fullness is in the bottom, mostly, unless you have longer legs than I. Then they probably look a little more elegant. The bottoms have a parachute cord and toggle sort of adjustment, which calls to my Utilitarian heart.

Ooh I just noticed the video which shows them worn tight at the ankle, straight leg, and cuffed - lots of options!
Agreed about Uniqlo colours on line. I have my eye on some linen pieces in ‘olive’, but it looks entirely grey in the photos. I have a greyed olive shirt from them that works great on me, but I don’t want grey. Fine line! I may just bite the bullet and order a bunch of stuff to try (it’s $10 to return anything). I do have access to a store but I hate the in store experience there.

@salt sea: the size chart says it's 29" inseam for all sizes. It also has finished garment measurements.

@robinF would you be able to cinch the hems up with the drawstring ankles/ parachute cable cords (what do you call them lol?) Or would they still drag that way?

Joy, sorry for the delay in replying, they run TTS. I have no waist so I get a large to accommodate, and it is roomy. If I liked a more regular fit, I’d get a medium, but I do like it loose. I’d get a Small if that is your regular, but if you need to accommodate any medical devices, perhaps up a size.
Also, got the little nylon fanny pack that Runcarla got, it is perfect for taking along the essentials, and under 20 dollars. I know you have some great bags and wrote about doubling them up? This would fit well into a tote. Washable.
Robin, I suck them up with the pants drawstring. They would be a chore to hem.

Just wanted to update since these are still in stock (at least in Canada). I have the green in XL (for reference I am a 14 or 16 in Gap/ON sizes and these are a loose fit in XL). I really like them. In fact I went online to buy the "natural" but they are sold out (in XL in Canada only.)

Since I was placing an order, I also tried the wide leg linen pants in black, which I am now duplicating in natural. They are a really nice pant for the price, more than professional enough for my office and also comfortable outside on a hot muggy day like we had yesterday. And I have made peace with the idea of paying a $10 return fee to stay out of the stores, really I think it's money well spent

Jules, those wide legs are so tempting! And agree about staying out of stores. I have very limited shopping opportunities for brick and mortar, being a caregiver, and the stores seem to take more time than I have to be away.
Bonnie, am thrilled to give a little back to this community. I am not the most fashionable, lol.
