Prom dress advice!!

Hi guys! Really need some help accessorising my prom dress. What do you think in terms of bag, shoes, hair and makeup? Cant decide whether to wear hair up or down. Btw the dress needs altered so im holding it in a little! Thanks

Wow! Stunning girl, stunning dress! I would say hair up, dangly crystal earrings, shiny metallic evening bag and sandals, smoky eyes and a translucent red lippie. But seriously, you could do pretty much anything and still be fabulous. Have fun!

And I will say hair down, don't care about earrings either way. shiny bag and shoes, metallic would be fine but with the red, either the bag or the shoes in black patent would be nice too.
Further supporting Carter's point that you could do pretty much anything and be just as stunning as you are right now.

Thanks guys i really appreciate ur replies:) i was thinking of getting like a vintage curl set done to have like an old hollywood feel but my mum is determined that i have my hair up lol. Decisions, decisions. Also getting the makeup right is gonna be tricky as Im doing it myself. Do u think red lip us way to go or too much? X

Wow, stunning. I agree with the posts above, but I'd say that you can wear your hair any way you like. I can see it down with the vintage curl and I can also imagine it in an elegant updo. I think the red lip would be perfect, especially if you choose to put your hair up. You look beautiful!

Beautiful and sophisticated. I think because it's prom, I'd go with an up do. Just one of those times to go all out. A chignon, to keep things sophisticated. Accessories with a little sparkle. Black crystals would be a little goth-y, but chic.

Definitely hair up, the neckline has a lot going on. I agree with the others, you could do anything and look beautiful. Yes to red lips. You'll be the belle of the ball!

Why not take a riff off the Dolce and Gabana adverts, with a center part and big low chignon or twisted braid. Pin your corsage in your hair against the chignon. Do a winged eye and dark stained lip.

I can't get to the hairstyle you linked to, but I do love what Runcarla suggested -- especially her first picture.

I think a gold bangle IS enough. I love the bold, architectural lines of the dress and personally would not want fussy jewelry with it.

You are incredibly beautiful. This is a gorgeous dress on you -- such a sophisticated choice in a lovely color!

Aw thank you so much for the really sweet replies! Not what i was expecting having just stuck the dress on after a long day at school. But thanks again so happy with my dress, was an absolute steal as it was reduced to £22! ❤️
