This morning's amazing post is inspiring me to try and organize my wardrobe into appropriate capsules.  I am starting with the Sporty Luxe one and I think I have most of the items figured out other that the sneakers ( I am asking about help on them at the end of  the post). I am posting potential pieces here and will try on outfits and narrow it down over the weekend. I was trying to get colors and shapes as similar as possible to Bridget's. In my whole capsule, only three pieces ( white cropped jeans,navy patterned linen tee and striped sweatshirt) are new from this year.

Bottoms: olive skinny cargos that can be rolled a little, white cropped kick flare jeans and  relaxed skinny jeans that can be rolled with the bug cuff to achieve the same look as Bridget's jeans.

Tops: Bridget has three brights in her capsule that go well with olive pants, so I am trying to replicate the effect with three different colors: her citron blouse and sweater are echoed by my orchid silk tee and linen sweater, and her hot pink and tomato tops are represented by my pale citron and aqua linen tees. Her grey tee inspired the grey asymmetric tank and her navy tee the patterned navy tee with olive, aqua and white. Next, like in her capsule, there are flowy black woven top, white lace top and striped tank. At end there is a little creative freedom: white lace sleeved tee is echoed in a white mixed media top.  Since the original capsule has a sweatshirt, I am also adding a striped and cropped white sweatshirt to the capsule.  I am not sure if the final one will work since the bottoms are mid rise, but we shall see.

Toppers: I have a white denim jacket but it is very cropped and I am doubtful it will work with all the pants. Alternatives is a white pleather moto which I expect would end up working much better.  I own two navy motos, one tweed and one knitted, and will try them both with the capsule, but I suspect the tweed one may work better.  Thoughts?

Extras: bone tote, silver/rose gold watch and grey sunglasses (no photo).

Sneakers: this is where I am having big problems.  Ideally, to echo Bridget's capsule, I would need a white pair and pair in either orchid, pale citron or aqua.   I do not own a right version of white, and no colored sneakers. When it comes to white I own sport pair on Nikes and Converse Highness.  Colored, there is a blue snakeskin pair, and navy higher pair.  I also own two pairs of slip-ons, black lace and pointy pale grey.  Which two pairs do you think would work best with the capsule? Best with the olive skinny pants? Can my white Nikes successfully function as white Eccos or are they too sporty for that?  This is really making me want the white Eccos, but my spring summer clothing budget is almost gone.   Also, feel free to suggest an ideal colored pair that would be coupled with white Eccos if Iw ere to buy new sneakers.

(P.S. I have accidentally added the wrong white jeans- skinny instead of cropped flare in the first row of the finds and fixing it would require too much work.  The correct jeans are at the end.)
