Thanks everyone! Yes, CJH, it was work. Whew. Just mixing up my own pieces randomly would have been a whole lot easier, but going back and forth from their pics and replicating each one with our own pieces, item by item, was a lot.
I did find I could use a print long sleeved top that layers well. So I learned something through the exercise.
EDIT: Rae, I actually don't think I would utilize this capsule in it's entirety like this. It was more to see if I had the cohesion in my closet (or could even see it hanging there in front of me) to attempt the BR. Kind of a challenge to strengthen the style muscles so to speak I did realize that I could have done the mock skirt suit with no less than 3 skirt/jacket combos I have lol (khaki, black, or olive).

Mo, these look great! I really feel like your shoes/sandals really take some of these outfits up a notch!

This is great. I've been thinking about the BR capsule thing since it popped up the other day but I have been really struggling with coming up with something analogous for my casual lifestyle. The sticking point for me is that I seem to only have jeans, jeans, and more jeans for casual trousers, which makes it less of a capsule and more of just the same thing I wear every day of my life.

This is brilliant, bravo! I always adored that BR capsule when it came out, but I am also a more casual wardrobe so I thought this was not for me. I wonder if I can do this with my heavy blue based wardrobe. I'll have to putter around in my closet sometime. And I adore that green dress with the cardigan, not a pairing I would have thought of but it's lovely!

This is a great casual interpretation! I also wanted to try it, but haven't gotten a chance yet. I definitely need a casual version, because I just don't dress like the BR capsule photos, ever.

Okay, this is genius. For some reason using an animal print blouse instead of something like a floral makes me so happy I can hardly stand it! I am going to be coming back to this thread as I plan my upcoming travel wardrobe!
