Poppy Barley custom-fit boots? (Canadians, take note!)

Just saw a link to this on another site. Very intrigued. Could this be the answer to my boot fit problems? Apparently they custom fit the boots based on a variety of measurements, including the ankle! (And Canadian fabbers - this is a Canadian company!!!!)

They are pricey though. Has anyone had any experience with this company?

ETA: Their base styles are still pretty limited though. I'm not sure any of them is exactly what I am looking for (for one thing they don't seem to offer gold zips, although there is one with gold studs).

Oh - I stumbled across this a while ago. I think I posted it within somebody's thread so it must have got lost (or maybe I did not post after all...) Anyway -- I have no experience but I was intrigued. The styling isn't quite what I was looking for personally. And I didn't realize they were a Canadian company. Aha, the plot thickens!!

Pricey is right, however. Still....if it works....

I've roamed around their site before too. I wish they had a few more options but maybe that isn't possible based on the custom fit aspect. However, if you got a pair of black boots that fit you PERFECTLY and are oh so comfy, that's pretty fabulous in my book. But yeah...a bit pricey for sure.

Wow, this is super cool. I'd bet they would add more style options if they really took off as a company. If I hadn't already gotten some pricey boots this year, I would try it. I like how they measure both the calf width and the top-of-boot width!

The site is really interesting. Just to try out the customization process I went through it all, measured everything they said and have a pair of boots in a basket. I'm thinking about it but not ready to commit yet. I could really use a pair of good dress boots that actually fit.

I've been hunting for a sleek, dressier black boot and finally got sick of dealing with foot-calf fit issues. I ordered the Uptown boot from this company the other day and will get them after Christmas.

The company doesn't have many styles, yet, but the Uptown is a simple, classic one that could be dressed up or down.

I have wider feet and thinner calves, so I tend to have a hard time finding good tall boots. Most of the time if a boot fits my foot, it's too wide for my calf and if it fits my calf, my feet get squished. I'm excited and nervous about this order, since they are expensive and since I haven't seen them in person. It's hard to gauge leather and stitching quality from a picture, but I'm going for it.

I'll post pics when they get here.
