I think a bit more experimentation focussing on making them breezier and more elegant might help - ultimately they might be a piece to pass on sooner rather than later. With over 20 wears they haven't been a disaster and are a "trendy" item so will appeal to someone else.

And I think for my body type, lower rise pleats, or fuller legs would be easier. Skirts with pleats or gathers on the waist can also be a challenge as I am short waisted (I think a bit in the torso and a bit in the rise) and combined with being broad shouldered I can feel cut in half with tucking with a higher rise.

The one leg definitely does look twisted to me too, in all but one of the pics. I think pleated trousers are definitely easier in wide legs- like a menswear suit pant. I haven't even tried them in more than a decade though!

I am going to check the leg of the pants - I think it's my pose but I also think that the fabric, cut and fit on my shape might be the issue...
