Thanks Suz!! The finds are more for inspiration - buying from the US is a bit risky due to returns and shipping and tax. And I have to be realistic that my winters are not that cold, and life is very casual at the moment (we are mid Omicron wave right now).

It's a bit of a divisive colour Mustard....I really like it but it's not the easiest to wear nor the most popular with some.

I know I'm going to sound like a broken record here, but Seasalt Cornwall do wool coats (my teal one is from there) & also waterproof ones. Free international shipping over a certain amount + a choice of them either deducting a nominal fee for your DHL return or you choosing your own courier out of packet.

They also do non-fair isle style jumpers in natural fibre blends too (the one in the second photo is on its way to me but in 'mustard' yellow )

Will check them out Zaeobi. Uk brands know how to do wet weather and knitwear! I like that last sweater - my sweaters are all plain and a patterned one would be a nice mix up.

So true, lol - Let us know how you get on with them, if you do decide to order! Though I believe Ballantynes also stock some Seasalt products, if you'd prefer to try brick & mortar (if you're able to shop in-person in NZ now)?

+ Typo above: just realised I meant 'out of pocket' (not packet), oops ...

++ Wait, I just remembered @Diana also reviewed a Canadian company, Mia Melon, that does waterproof single-breasted wool coats! Think she posted in January? Might be costly for international shipping, though...
