These are great tunics! I prefer it with the back a bit shorter I think.

Bonnie, is there any chance you can measure the length of the tunic in the front? I'm thinking one of these could be just the thing for my blue velvet leggings.

TIA!

These are both gorgeous! Love them as they are a feminine cut, streamlined and so flattering, fabric is lightweisht looking, so guess it's rather a faux flanel, isn't it! YLF, Bonnie!

I love both on you and I am amazed at how fab the red one is with your coloring. You wear full color tones very well.

Elisabeth P - the tunics are about 34" long in front. lyn67 - the fabric is a lightweight crinkly cotton. Joyce B - I'm surprised about liking the red, too. I've stayed away from strong colors but remembered that Angie's advice not to be afraid of color so I gave it a try. Firecracker, Colette, Angie - My accessory capsule is very small and this was the best I could do but I will be looking for something before the parties start - any suggestions?

Beth Ann - Mom's sewing room sounds wonderful. Suz and others - I kind of like the funkiness of the longer hem even though I think I look better in the shorter length - what to do? TraceyLiz65 - I used to love button downs and when I started taking photos, I realized that they were not my friends - tunics look so much better on my body. alaskagirl, Alasse, Isabel, Debbie, unfrumped, Missey, Brooklyn, Summer, Coco C, and shevia - thank you for your kind comments.

Thanks Bonnie, I think that length will be perfect for me :). I have the same thing going on with me and button downs... the proportions are off more often than they are on. Longer tops are definitely better.

"Won't ship to my destination" Sigh. Oh well, was worth a shot!

Bonnie, does the long beaded necklace have a clasp? If so, I was thinking you could undo it and wrap the necklace several times to make it shorter.
Or pick up something inexpensive and sparkly, like this, perhaps?

Firecracker, I went to the opera this afternoon and at intermission an artist was selling her jewelry to benefit the opera and I bought two beautiful crystal necklaces. I think they'll be perfect. I'll try to get a photo tomorrow. Thanks for sharing a photo of what to look for.
