Such lovely, lovely family pics! DS is the tallest in the family

Sister is rocking those white jeans! (If that's your sister?)

#3 is my favourite photo. Just soooo sweet. You look delightfully Summery, and Dad is dapper and handsome!

Aw, thanks Angie! My son is 19 & still seems to be growing. :-0 The day I took my dad to Mass, I showed my mom what I was going to put on so she could have him wear something coordinating. She said “too late!” but I think the blue & white windowpane shirt he has on goes well with my skirt. And yes, that’s my big sister, the pretty one, doing those white jeans justice.

Great pictures! I love seeing photos of others' families and friends and places. Thank you for sharing! I love your outfit for mass. The colour of tank looks great on you and you do co-ordinate with your dad. Beautiful church too.

...the jumpsuit photo in the plane lavatory...haha!

Thanks BlueJay. Every time we see my dad, it tugs at our heartstrings, and I’m glad to see my son connecting with his cousins. That’s the church I grew up in; the mama pelican above the altar and a stained glass window of Mary going to visit Elizabeth when both are pregnant made impressions on me. No one has ever accused that church or Catholicism in general of being particularly woman-centered, but those are the main design things that stuck with me.

After a week at my parents’, we headed off to Boston for orientation, then headed for home immediately afterwards, with a 7:15 flight Friday afternoon. We were headed this way for a long time, got stuck on the way again, but are finally here. Didn’t change my clothes a lot because these shorts & the blackberry sweatshirt were the closest things to warm i had with me. The green shirt is new, and unlikely to be worn with such loose-fitting shorts again. I had the sweatshirt on or tied around my waist most of the time anyway. And yes, this post has morphed entirely from fashion update to travelogue.

Looks like a great trip! Shame about the flight issues but Thanks for the travel updates.

I am so impressed that you managed to pack all that in your single, very stylish carry bag. I need lessons!

Rejoiceandbe, summer clothes are lightweight and small! Also, I think I’m lucky that they didn’t decide to weigh the bag to see if it was permissible as a carry-on.
Lana, I’m a bit embarrassed that the main thing we used our extended travel time for was eating, but we are so glad to be back home!
Angie, my son is taller than his dad & mine. Who knows where it comes from!
