This sneaker shape, this Adidas shape, so on trend...is something in any other year that I would love. With its sleekness, its sock-like quality, but like from a pro footballer...it has an undeniable style.
But it is kind of ubiquitous now. I cease to associate it with sweaty, determined soccer players, or cool French kids. Now I associate it with everything, everyone, everywhere...it feels a bit sanitized.
I do have something kind of in this shape, and I still wear them frequently. But I am more excited now about the Adidas shell toe, a throwback to my raver days. It looks like they are making them, so I will have that on my radar.
In this flat-ish shape of shoe, I am still interested in sneakerinas. I don't know if I will make that happen. I know that most stylish people will experiment with everything...I guess I just have a certain thing with shoes.
Maybe with a tracksuit, though...I would wear either of these with a track suit. Bring back the sporty flavor.
