I need to refresh my fall and winter outerwear - jackets, vests, or both.

My problem is that I now technically have large breasts on my petite frame.
This is partially due to weight gain, but not totally. Something about my body chemistry changed and, well, they're much bigger than they used to be.

In other words, this is unlikely to change significantly.

This makes shopping for outerwear really dificult.

Most anything I've tried on that fits around my chest is giant in the shoulders.

Are their styles and silhouettes I can be looking for that might fit my shape more easily?

Or is my best option to find something that is close enough to just-right then have it tailored?
Given that it usually has layers, can outerwear even be tailored like that?
