Oh, so sorry, Jenn! Hope it’s not going to be too hard!

I am so sorry you are having such awful luck. I hope you only have mild symptoms and that your husband is feeling better.

OH NO! This would be my nightmare (haven't had Covid yet, either). Hope it’s easy on you and that Kevin emerges unscathed.

Oh, that sucks, Jenn! I hope symptoms stay mild and pass quickly. Hang in there.

Jenn, just saw this thread. I’m so sorry and hope you all are pulling through quickly!

Oh dear…hopefully not too bad for you and hope that Kevin is recovering. 2 days later for you not 5 days like you feared?

Feel better and best to all of you. I know how it feels to have Covid hi-jack a long awaited family vacation (10 out of 12 caught it in 2-4 day intervals). Hang in there; wishing for mild cases and a speedy recovery.

Sorry to hear that and I hope both of you are feeling better already and that you will be able to continue your vacation as planned. It seems that traveling is risky, I also got covid while traveling after successfully avoiding it for long time.

Thank you all so much for the good wishes, sympathy, and especially the sharing of similar stories. I am telling myself that if everyone is going to get it, at least doing so after several vaccinations and in a time when strict quarantines aren’t as necessary is preferable. I don’t regret the trip.

Kevin is already recovered and testing negative again and H has remained Covid-free, so it’s down to just me, with minor symptoms. Could be worse!

Oh, Jenn, I’m so happy to hear that you symptoms are not too bad and your guys are fine!

I hear more often now that people are getting Covid but it’s not severe due to being vaccinated. At this time, it’s just a matter of time, all of us will get it sooner or later.

I'm just catching up on this thread. SORRY you tested positive too

GLAD hubs has tested negative again, and that your symptoms are mild. Hang in there!!!

Enjoy the rest of your trip. xo

Glad to hear you are all doing ok!

Happy to hear your husband has recovered and tested negative. Hope you recover quickly and can resume your trip.

That's good (ish) news - I am pleased you can be still experiencing the wonders of Europe with more to come!

I hope you will be well soon and that H doesn't catch it. Wishing you positive, happy vibes for the rest of your trip!

I just found this. I am so sorry that your trip is such an ordeal. I am trying to be careful after several dear ones have long Covid and other problems like not sleeping... at least they survived so far.

It is not unusual to see many people here wearing masks yet although it is confusing. Some stores still require them. Many places have closed or have new hours. It is best to call ahead to check. I still wear a mask in public and have not gone back to a gym or church. I still seems dangerous.
Our travel has been limited to day car trips for now. We have not really explored our area, but it it has gotten more difficult with need for advance planning and special permits. Retail is iffy.
I am sorry for the problems you have had. The added stress can be a big negative.
