Sarah, I am really late to this, but I finally got a chance to watch the segment (was in Texas with no wifi when I originally saw this), and I just want to say touched I am by the whole thing (as the kids say, it's raining on my face). I can't imagine going through all you've been through, and it's clear from watching that segment that your family is filled with grace and gratitude. I'm so happy you got to meet Natalie and had that special experience. You also looked beautiful and way more composed than I can imagine being, if I were in your shoes. Big hugs to you and your family!

Marley: it's okay... I get those two shows mixed up all the time! I'm glad you found the right one, and thanks for your sweet words.

Thank you Lyn and Janet! It was truly a wonderful (albeit nerve wracking) experience! Natalie was wonderful and I really appreciated how sensitive the producer was and how well she did at telling the story in a positive way. My concern from the beginning was that our involvement would be positive and not negative. I'm so glad that came through! (And big hugs back, Janet!)

I'm really late to this too as I've been a bit AWOL this week. What a moving experience to go through and handled with grace and humility by you and your family. I'm impressed with how sensitively the filming was done too and how brave and strong you were throughout. Thank you for letting us share this too.
