So happy for the improvement. Sending more love and hugs.

Keeping everything crossed for you. Lots of good thoughts.

Many, MANY positive thoughts.... v_v

Thank you all....this forum is SO incredibly caring and kind....Im very grateful to be part of it. B is doing even better today He can only eat a very small amount and is still dealing with diarrhea, but he's been awake, alert and the tail wagged a little today!

I'm thinking good thoughts for Biscuit. I had to take one of my cats to the ER last week, and we went through the ultrasound ordeal. They were pretty sure it was cancer, so I made a follow-up appointment, but the second ultrasound showed it wasn't. I hope Biscuit gets a similar prognosis! (I'm sure you have thought about this, but might you want to get the ultrasound done even if he does continue to eat? I know they are pricey, but hopefully it will give you some info as to why he isn't eating.)

Oh my gosh ! What is going on here on the forum....so much illness and scary stuff going on .

I am so glad that Biscuit is better. Our cat once had a really bad bout with pancreatitis. She was on a feeding tube for a couple of months. But she licked it !!!!!!!! Poor Biscuit, he must be so sick of being sick. I feel such a bond to him, because I feel that the last year we have been cosmic sick twins ! HIs attitude inspires me !

Steph - what a scare. We depend so much on scientific technology, but the downsides are so stressful when it all just gets muddled.

I'm so sorry, I hope he keeps improving!! Poor Biscuit! Poor you!! I'll be thinking of both of you!

Oh, I'm so sorry Biscuit is going through this! Will keep you in my thoughts...I hope he continues to improve...

I am glad to hear he is doing better! Sending more good wishes...

and more good wishes for dear Biscuit. Hugs, biscuitsmom. It's so hard to see our pets or children suffering and not be able to do much to help.

Lots of love from my "pack" to yours.

Oh Biscuit - I'm so glad you are eating more and not stressing your mum so much!!

BiscuitMum, big hugs from me! Pancreatitis can be a very scary thing in our animals (and us!), so I am so glad he is doing better.

Oh big hugs and I'm so pleased things are improving... what a huge worry

You ladies are so sweet! Biscuit really enjoys listening to what everyone has written and hearing your names....I cant tell you how much I appreciate all the replies- it means SO much to me! Steph, Im SO glad to hear your cat doesnt have cancer! YAY!!!! I really hate to put him thru a ultrasound, because they need to knock him out and it is a *major* struggle to get a IV in him....last time it took close to a half hour of jabbing him
Isabel, Im SO sorry to hear your cat had pancreatitis too! TG she pulled thru!!!!!!!! I think Biscuit would be very *proud* to be your twin! Now, BOTH of you stay healthy, ok?

BM, I LOVE it that you read our posts for him !!! I hope it brings him a little solace.

I think that I have told you that my sister is mentally disabled and lives with my parents. She has a wonderful PCA who has a dog. Toby visits everyday and my elderly parents adore this dog. ( There actually aren't words to describe how they feel about Tobey. )

Anyway, when my dad was sick over the Winter and in the hospital, Tobey would run around their house calling for him. So every day that I saw Tobey, I would sit down with him and give him an "update" on my dad !

Oh, how sweet is that! Thats wonderful...I bet he feels the love....I truly believe that they know and can understand a lot more than many people think...and that some are smarter than others. My first Shar Pei (Ping) was just adorable, very sweet and happy, but *not* the brightest bulb.... Biscuit is really SO smart and listens and tries to understand everything you tell him and definitely knows people by their names....he hated DH's best friend (jealousy, I think...he was a great guy and a big dog lover) and would start to growl or bark if you even mentioned his name! lol...
