oh.. hope you get well soon! Hugs!

How wonderful to figure this out, and be able to address it with PT! Yay!

I am glad you were able to get to the bottom of this. Best luck with PT! I have done it for back and neck issues. It is excruciating at first but you will see results! Please keep us posted!

I'm so glad the doctors were finally able to figure out what was causing your problems, Louise. Here's to no more health worries and to deeper breathing!-)

That is indeed good news! It's always a relief to get to the bottom of problems and get them fixed!

I went to a Physical Therapist (PT) for neck and shoulder issues, and he said I wasn't breathing properly! I was always breathing from the top of my lungs, therefore always lifting my shoulders to help & always aggravating my neck/shoulder issues. He had me practice deep diaphragm breathing. It felt weird! But I can deal with that!

Improper breathing explained a lot of issues I had dealt with over the years. It's SO helpful to know, and to know what to do about it

Funny, but I always had a very small waist, and you have such a tiny waist. Do you think we 'little waisted' people are less likely to let our diaphragm expand somehow? Do we wear tighter waistbands, belts, whatever because we can, but then it affects breathing? Inquiring minds want to know. . .

What a relief! Good luck, Louise

What good news! I never knew you could breathe "wrong". Interesting.

Thanks everyone x
Lynne the consultant said that like MNsara I'm breathing using the top of my chest rather than lower down where I should.
MNsara you could be onto something with the tiny waist x
