Oh that’s lovely on you Suz, makes your hair look at least as luminous as usual. Nice to have something extra bright for winter. I hope it’s warm enough- I wear a lot of merino in our winter but not mixed with cotton. This colour is almost, but not quite, a mustard?
Fun jolt of color! I found a warm light yellow tee when shopping for summer that was a fun addition. I wore it with an ancient headed to landfill black micro-gingham skirt. I can’t remember the last time I had something yellow. I have vague memories of a yellow Oxford cloth shirt that made me look like death. I wouldn’t worry about it being a closet orphan; when I hung them together and tried to make outfits I realized none of the various greens I have bought over the years match any other green piece. But they all get a lot of wear.
Waving to my belt twin. I hope this color makes you happy, because it makes me happy to see you wearing it. Very pretty, flattering and a great way to perk up existing wardrobe items. Love it on you!
Thanks, Kyle, belt twin! It's a really fun change.
cat2, that is good to hear about your different greens. In nature, we look at and enjoy different shades of the same colour in close proximity all that time, so why not in our closets, too?
Jenni, thanks! It's not really as "dirty" as mustard in real life. Brighter and closer to citron, but a slightly sour citron, if that makes sense. So it's not a pure lemon yellow but one with lime mixed in.
