Looking forward to WIWs.
Are your other blondos the same style?

Yay!! Was going to say that you definitely need those! Blondos work so hard and look great doing it ... A fab find!!

A big yes from me. They look gorgeous on you.

They are a classic and you will wear them to death.

Bookending bliss! Yes, these will come in soooooo handy! KEEP!

Also, your hair is cute as it is. I like the spiky effect!

I think that was a great decision. You know you love them and they are totally different than the other ones.

So how much in store? I put them in my cart to see what the duties and taxes would be. Lisap has correctly pointed out in the past that these are way high for footwear from Nordstrom - I'm sure due to some Canadian protectionism, but brand websites and retail seem to manage to compensate more in their pricing so it's interesting to me, and quite a "gotcha" when shopping their sales. Anyway, with $9.95 "flat rate shipping!!!" that I qualified for (whoop de doo), the total comes to $193.77, from an advertised sale price of $137.86 CA... That's after an initial Shopping Bag screen that shows free shipping and $13.92 in tax for a more expected $150ish "estimate".
All this to say I am curious what you paid in store for these very cute boots

So glad you got them - they look great on you and they are waterproof, perfect!

Jules, I paid $119 CAD. With tax it came to $130-something. But this was an in-store sale.

Of course! One-out, one-in makes it eminently reasonable. And a waterproof replacement for non-waterproof, to boot!

Glad you bought them! They're awesome! I was eying them here at Nordies.....then they disappeared. I mentioned them to a SA who insisted they didn't come in silver and I must have seen something else.

Did they have lots of size available out there?

I bought the natural snake a few weeks ago and love them. I even got a "cool boots" comment from our veterinarian last week.

Oooh!! Marilyn, they did have them in multiple sizes on the floor in Vancouver. I wasn't even planning to go into the store but my bus whizzed past just as I was crossing the intersection, so I thought why not. My eye of course immediately landed on these on the sale rack.

They absolutely come in silver and also a whole lot of other colours on the web site, but I only saw the silver and the B&W snake yesterday on the floor.

Except for the SA, who was wearing the black ones.

That's a good price for Blondos. I try not to go above that for any footwear.

Yes, the price was definitely right -- I paid more for all my other three pairs. Exact same style, Fashintern. I almost never do this kind of duplication, but I found last year (when I had two colours) that I was splitting wears pretty evenly and wearing both a lot. I don't expect to get quite as much wear from B&W snake or silver, but we'll see. I might surprise myself.

Yes, they look great and you will probably wear them a lot. Comfy stylish shoes that are a stand out? Yes.

Let's see... they are comfy, perfect for your climate, fit your style, AND are on sale? Definitely get them!

Glad you got them. So you.

I think you'll get more use out of the silver than the snakeskin at the end of the day, glad you kept them. The book ending aspect is spectacular.

After debating for ages, and driving around with them in my car to return, I ended up keeping these in the snakeskin. I love the look, but they are just not my most comfortable boots (or my most comfortable Blondos). It's that thing with how it hits my shin that we discussed a while back on the forum...
That being said, I wore them all last weekend in some pretty heavy rain, and walking through mud and grass, and loved that they were fashionable and waterproof!

Booties are great and fill a different niche than the others. Believer in duplicating comfortable footwear that you always reach for; plus this neutral plays so well with your wardrobe and beautiful “evolving” hair. Well done.

I would really be eager to find them a subtle way to snake them into my shoe closet somehow!:-)
