Quick update: 30 min of yougurt and vinegar rinse after it did not change a thing.
I am at work now and i hope my "strong" makeup does not look too clownish.:-)

Sveta - you look gorgeous no matter what! Just act like you meant to do that and rock that darker hair! It looks quite fine.

But I do sympathize - it's always a shock when something doesn't turn out the way it's supposed to.

I say add a red lip and you'll be fine. The red lip will echo the strong hair color (which looks fine on you, it's bold but not over the top)

I'm sorry Sveta, I know how upsetting this is. I dye my own hair and the things I've done over the years.SMH.
However, I must tell you the darker color is quite flattering on you. It plays off your striking features quite well.

Always a bummer when products don't do what they are supposed to! I surely feel your pain here.

BUT, the bright side is:

- You have a dramatic style that works with the dramatic black color. Yes, it's not your favorite color, but it doesn't look "off," if you know what I mean.

- You have short hair. This is doubly good because 1) it's not like you have 3 feet of the wrong color taking over your whole look and 2) you can grow it out and cut it off in no time. This will all be a memory very soon.

- You are lucky and savvy enough to know your most flattering colors in makeup and clothes. I have no worry that you will look lively and fab in the mean time!

I'm joining the party late as usual but I'd also like to add that I think it looks great!

I dyed my hair blue-black at Christmas & even though I was expecting it to be dark, it was a huge shock especially without make-up! Lol. I've found that darkening my eyebrows really helps.

My hair has faded way too fast but I swim 3 times a week & I think that helps strip the colour.

I know it wasn't want you wanted, but you do actually look really great in that color! It's a perfect complement to your skintone.

Sveta, when I see your pictures, I see an exotic beauty with strong cheekbones and gorgeous eyes. I believe these features are highlighted by the darker color of your hair and add to the mystery and beauty of your face. I really like it on you. Try it with your cobalt blue jacket and see if it makes your eyes come alive.
