Thank you all so much. Your good thoughts and well wishes are greatly appreciated. We have known for half a year that Jasmine has serious heart disease. There is no cure and she has been aggressively medicated since we found out. She has good days and bad days. We are still in ER but hope to be back home in a couple of hours. Jasmine is currently receiving more treatment.

Jasmine is doing better. She is still a very sick doggie but her spirit has improved and she ate supper a few minutes ago. These are good positive signs.

I will catch up with the forum as soon as I can.

Oh, Angie, your post just hit me right in the gut. My cat is getting older and having kidney issues, so every time she has a bad day, I'm wrecked with worry too. I'm so sorry Jasmine isn't feeling well. I hope she will continue to improve and that tomorrow and the days following will be much better for you all.

My aunt's mini poodle had heart disease, and this was a long time ago. I hope there are better treatments now. In any case, it's so very hard.

Oh Angie - my heart skipped a few beats when I first read this but I am so pleased that Jas is eating - that truly is a great sign.
