Nude shoes to replace black?

I need a replacement for a pair of black 'eurosneaks'. I want them to go with trousers, skirts and dresses. And they need to be supercomfy for i.e. city vacations with all day walking. Could a nude pair be just as versatile as black? Black is so easy because it bookends my hair and I often wear black tights. Elongating legs is always a priority for me

If you often wear black tights, I do not think I would go with nude sneaks. There is something about this pair that I don't care for...have you looked at he Josef Siebel Caspians? Maybe a metallic? That's my two cents...good luck!

I agree with Missey. There's something about the color that seems off to me. I know colors often don't photograph true.

It sounds like you have your answer. If black works for you in more ways than nude, then nude could play a secondary role to a black pair, but is unlikely to work solo. I wouldn't be fond of lots of cold , wet city walking in light colored shoes and since I wear almost exclusively dark pants when I travel, I prefer to minimize contrast in footwear. This is largely because even my "super cool" AGL Euro sneakers are never my desired focal point. YMMV

It sounds to me like black is a better way to go. You really need black if you are going to wear with black tights IMHO.

I also second Eliza. Wet, cold city walking in light colored shoes is not ideal.

I was thinking that black would be boring because that is sort of my default, but at the same time I know it always seems to work.

Missey - I havn't been looking actively, but today I happened to pass a few stores. These were very comfy, but I hesitated on the color and frumpy was crossing my mind

There is something about the frumpiness of these that makes me absolutely love them! The texture and that white on the back area - so cool! I would be very tempted to get them and wear them for warm weather - but probably not with black bottoms unless u could bookend them with lighter tops!
