I have been eying these MC pants from Anthropologie for months. They are only $20 now but they are out of my size, and any size I could potentially fit in

I have no faith that the Club Monaco ones everyone was buying will still be in stock in my size at a price I can manage.

I have tried J Crew, Gap, and Esprit. Where else is worth looking into?

No help here, but lots of commiseration. Frustrating!!

Do you think that if you called the 800 # that Anthropologie could find out if there are any pairs in your size floating around in the stores, and have them sent? CM and Nordstrom have both done this for me.

Wow, that is absolutely incredible. At the time I posted this, sizes 6-14 were all in stock. Now only 12 is left! Did a bunch of YLFabbers just buy all the rest after following my link?!

I guess I could call but seeing how fast they just went I don't know if I should hold out much hope!

Darn. I was eyeing those pants, too, and couldn't decide on the size. After they went on sale first time (to $49, I think) there were a bunch of different sizes for weeks and weeks.

At least there's a free shipping option until Sept.

Yep, that's when I was watching them too Lena, and no one was buying them! Now that they're so cheap everyone seems to want a pair.

CC, I'm glad you were able to score a pair! And, that's funny you mention ebay because I was just checking there, hehe. Nothing yet. I wear a 2 or 4.

Curse it Maya! I love those trousers and I know how much you want them! Have you tried calling Customer Service in the meantime? You never know right?

I didn't get around to replying on your other thread, but I absolutely loved your interview outfit (with the grey mary janes too) and I am SO keeping my fingers crossed. Do you know when they'll get back to you with the final decision?

I have asked a friend who works at Anthro to find out for me if they are available anywhere. Fingers crossed!

I'm not sure when the decision will be made. I am going to guess by the end of the week, but sometimes it takes as long as two weeks. It is a GREAT job though and exactly the kind of work I have been looking for, so I'm very hopeful.

Oh Maya, that sucks! This whole scenario makes me think that there might be ALOT more lurkers on the forum than we think! Of course, it could just be that people were getting home from work and getting online right around the time that you first posted. And course we can't forget about the e-bayers! Keep checking - I bet they'll show up on the bay soon!

Hey Maya, CM has a sale this weekend and our store still had a few pairs of microchecks. I was expecting them to be gone by now considering how many ylfers are local. Could you get to the store tomorrow? I don't want to rub it in, but I couldn't resist getting them at $40 including tax.

I won't be able to get there Bah, why can't they have an online store?! I'm surprised to hear that they aren't sold out too, mostly because sizes 0-4 always seem to sell out the quickest.

I wish they would get an online store, too! (and H & M). I think the closest of those stores are an hour and a half away from me. I've never even been in one.
