I would love to try a pair of overhauls. I didn't wear them in the 90's so I think I have some leftover desires!

I would love the miramars too but do you think they will fade or stretch more quickly? I can't wait to see pics!

Maybe #3-4 not all the way to the waist. Not with a cropped top. Anything else I think would make me just look bigger then I am. Plus when I did wear denim overalls many years ago my hubby told me to never wear them again!

I never even heard of pajama jeans before...It looks comfortable...I would definitely try them.

I have to confess the only style I even sort of like for myself is the first, the Miramars...they're really kind of cool and interesting, but I wouldn't shell out that amount for cotton sweatpants even if they are that cool looking and from R&B.

I appreciate the look of overalls but they are not for me. I definitely see that as a look better suited to the under-50 crowd.

As for mom jeans, I just don't see them as attractive. After a little thought, I wonder if it is in part because of my body type -- they really require a waist, which I don't have, so they are not a style I personally could ever wear well. But even still, they are a very hard sell to me. Just do not like the look.

As soon as I saw the Miramars, I thought they were meant for you, so I'm happy they're going to be yours.

I'm still trying to see the visual appeal of the elastic ankles and wonder about their comfort. You could wear any of these and look spectacular and I love Angie's name for you: Queen Farm Fashionista.

Umm. I wore overalls and cut-off overalls in the 1960s and 1970s, so much as I like them I don't think they're a look I should be sporting at my age. PLUS, knowing my luck, my cell phone would end up in the toilet if I tried wearing them again. The bathroom thing was always the major annoyance while wearing those babies.

I rather like Mom jeans due to my proportionately small waist and large thighs, but the stiffness of the original Moms sometimes made my thighs look even bigger. I have a pair of Style & Co. jeans from Macys from a few years back that are actually cut Mom style even more than NYDJ jeans.

Missed this thread earlier. I have the greatest emotional reaction to the overalls. When they were in style back in the early 80s, I was in junior high. I really really really wanted a pair, but at 4'11" and no such thing as petites just yet, I could not find any to fit me. It was quite traumatic, searching high and lo to no avail.

Now I'm probably too old for them but I am getting this odd pull, wondering if just maybe this time around they'll eventually trickle down to petite sizes, and I might be tempted to find resolution to an awkward teenage memory. Ha! I can just see myself finding a pair that fits, having a triumphant moment as I buy them ...

.....and then never wearing them, because at 48 I'd look ridiculous....
