The new Uniqlo opened before the official opening weekend and I stopped in today since I needed to pop in the mall anyway. It is not a huge store, but it’s well stocked and organized, and the staff seems very helpful. There were customers there but it was not overly crowded.

I tried on a few things and came home with a white waffle Henley (probably won’t see much wear for the next three months but a nice basic for me), and the boatneck sleeveless top Angie included in a recent blog post on recommended tops. I tried it in white and in red, and I sized up for a little extra room to avoid clinginess. I’m not sure whether I’ll keep both, but white tops are generally a slam dunk for my summer wardrobe.

I look forward to having a location near me. I don’t have a ton from them, but the things I have gotten have been very good.
