JAileen, are you using a PC or a Mac, or a phone perhaps?

Greg, I'm having the same problem on my other computer now as well. (Still Firefox.) Logging out and back in does not change it. I cannot upload a screenshot.

Hey Greg, I'm intermittently getting the problem Ginger has with the forum on Firefox, and it's correlated with also not being able to upload photos (The photo uploads, then says "Failed" rather than showing the photo). Logging out and then back in fixed it for a while, then it happened again after a little while. i also had an issue with logging in. It just did it again so I took some screen shots for you.

I also experienced a strange issue with logging in after the forum started doing the aforementioned thing (photo #1). I logged out (no problem), then clicked the "log in" which brought up the normal pop up window, but when I entered my info, it gave me a "this connection is not secure" warning (photo #2) and redirected me to another page (photo #3), from which I was able to log in with no problem. As you can see, since I am able to upload the photos to this post, the logging out/in has temporarily fixed it again.

ETA: I am using the latest version of firefox on a macbook pro with OS 10.9.5.

Well, that was fast. 10 minutes after doing the logout/login thing my forum is borked again.

Hi Greg I made my first ever comment on the blog post over 12 hours ago, maybe 5th or 6th comment down. It still says on my phone that the comment is "awaiting moderation". Never having made one before I don't know, but is that a glitch?

Comments need to be approved manually if for some reason they don't go through immediately. I usually go through them in the mornings (Belgian time), hence the delay. So this was not a glitch, but thanks very much for mentioning it.

That's fine Inge! I didn't think my comment was so bad, I just said I didn't like cropped wide leg pants! My timing is a bit muddled as I'm still on holiday in Australia, and I have no idea on Belgian time. Thanks for explaining

I've been having to log in twice each time I come to the forum. Once by clicking the upper right corner and then again when a box pops up. Does that seem right?

It's still doing that for me, too, Liz. And it redirects me to the home page instead of wherever I was when I tried to log in.

I still haven't seen any of the small icons on the site since before the update, regardless of computer.

There was absolutely nothing wrong with your comment, Jenni!! Occasionally comments just get stuck in the system, even if there's nothing "suspicious". Please don't worry about it.
(And no need to keep track of Belgian time;-)

Ginger: I had the same issue with the small icons until I cleared the browser's cache. Perhaps you can give that a try?

It's working for me but in Firefox I'm getting some strange replacements for the images/icons in some cases. Oh and right now I can't add a photo here to show you.

In the normal button sections across the top of the comments for example I'm seeing % S 1 & ( # instead of the actual icon buttons or whatever you are using.

A font issue I guess. Maybe I need to restart my machine...

Phew...I am so glad and relieved to see Sam in uniform on patrol. Can he be hired for personal detail ? Sometimes the paparazzi overwhelms me and I could use his help. LOL

texstyle, that's the issue Diana and I are having. Restarts (and clearing the cache, thank you Inge) have not effected it.

I'm also still having to signin twice.

Same log in issue as Liz and Ginger from my iPad.

I'm unable to upload photos in my post. I'm on my iPhone. Also having to log in even though I never really log out, and then a message that my password is incorrect even though I entered it correctly.

I am having the same icon issue as Texstyle et al from my laptop (cropped up yesterday); no problem from my iPhone.

I didn't log out or anything, but suddenly my icons are fine again!!!

Greg, it's me again. Page 1 of the Forum is fine, but when I went to Page 2 just now it has the icon problems. I didn't log off or anything.

Apologies for all these issues. Right now I think they are all about my change making your browsers confused. Logging in and out, and clearing the browser cache, seems to remove this confusion in most cases. In others it just takes a while for the browser to get used to the new settings.

Please let me know if you still have issues now. If so, please let me know which device (e.g. PC, Mac, iPad, iPhone, etc.) and browser you are using.
