Thanks everyone! I'm pretty happy with it! Normally I get to keep it nice and sleek for a day or two after I get it cut, but I went for a run this morning so had to wash and style it on my own right away. I had to do a wash and wear today as we were running late and I'm pretty happy with how it turned out. I think I'll like it even more when I'm able to style it a bit - no pictures yet, but soon!
Jem - DH does approve! He actually likes it curly and straight!
Deborah - you are absolutely right that when I wear it curly, it's quite a bit shorter. But the front layers still come down to my chin, so I don't think it's *too* short.
Denise & Claire - believe it or not, this is after she thinned the heck out of it, not once but twice! I know the grass is always greener and all, but man..it's a lot of hair...and it totally has a mind of its own.
April - the bottoms layers and back are actually *very* curly and the top layers would much rather go quite straight. I don't know yet if I'll be able to flat iron it into submission on my own or not. It's going to be tough with the layers as short as they are in back. Stay tuned.
Kim - the skirt does tend to ride up a bit when I sit, but since I'm behind a desk all day, it doesn't seem to be too bad. I'd never wear it if I were meeting with clients, but I don't think I'd be embarrassed if clients were to drop by. I wonder if I can have the hem taken out a bit...
Parsley - I've been loving your hair curly! And I think my taste has also changed a bit to prefer longer hemlines. Not sure if that's YLF inspired or just the general trend either!
