Whaaaat! Who are you, some off duty model? Beautiful and I can't wait to see how it plays out with your color choices!

p.s. we call that honey colored around here.

Oh, I like!!! The lighter tones are a little bit of a softer look for you.

I love ombre hair, it is so pretty on you and really suits you.

In terms of embracing new colours with a change in hair colour, you will find that your palette changes slightly and probably lighter colours will work better on you than before. That has been my experience, because as I have got older I wear my hair a lighter blonde shade to blend with my natural platinum highlights.

Totally gorgeous! Really brings out your eye color.

Have fun with the new look and how it interacts with your wardrobe! I find that hair changes have a huge impact on which clothing looks good. Try not to get frustrated about that (as I usually do) and just lean into the experiment (as I should do).

Beautiful! You look like you are some off-duty celebrity. Easy elegance. I am curious to see how it plays with your wardrobe. It's warmer toned so you might switch up some of your lipstick a bit. Not sure, really -- a lot depends on the lighting of course.

It looks really pretty on you!

Very lovely color. It suits you well and it looks very natural. I associate these lighter colors with warmer weather - sun-bleached kind of look, but it is going to be a nice experiment for you. Let us know how it works out.

That is a great colour and cut. I have gone from dark brown to blonde and found different colours suited me as I went lighter. I don't wear makeup much so didn't change my makeup but found I had to change the colour when i dyed my eyebrows or tinted my eyelashes. I didn't need to colour them as darkly.

Pretty! So understand the need to go lighter for less contrast with the greys. Yours turned out fab. When I tried this mine went yellow, hence I have gone all natural instead.

Oh my! Your new hair color is beautiful! I really like how the lighter shades frame your face and eyes. When I went from brunette to gray, I found very few changes for colors or makeup were needed.

Thanks so much everyone for the encouraging comments! I was having a moment of 'Oh Gawd what have I done' last night but am feeling good again today - oh hair, you are such a drama.

notsaf, I link you are right, I can probably add some camel! I think maybe mixing cool and warm elements might be a strategy to play with, actually. Key words caramel or honey-toned, thanks to Shevia and PreppyPear.

And Suz, yes - given my neutral heavy wardrobe, a lipstick and blush review is the first order of business! I think I have a few slightly warmer tones stashed away somewhere, and may google some autumn seasonal recommendations that lean to the coolest end of that spectrum.

Thanks everyone as always for your encouragement and kindness. xoxo

It's gorgeous, Helena, I'm loving it so much!

Great new look!l definitely approve,l hope the in-house styling team does too.

CG:
Offspring: You look about 40 years younger!
Other Offspring: (with no pause): So you look about 40 years old!

*eyeroll*

FAB!

i was blond for a while, it didn’t really change the colors or the make up that i wore because my underlying skin tone was still the same.

YLF! Time to spend the offsprings' inheritance on luxuries for yourself, I think....

Haha Carol I keep threatening that but they are unfazed!!

Gosh, i just LOVE that on you! Knowing you are colour-obsessed, I have no doubt it will impact your colour choices I would hold off on buying anything new until you see how it impacts your choices...

Also...you look about 17

Ooh, love this! It really suits you. How fun to change it up!

Yes, I imagine your wardrobe choices will change. I'll be curious to see whether you still enjoy deep colors or whether you will enjoy midtones more.

Very pretty!
I was completely blonde at one time and had completely brown hair at another and found that with blonde hair/light skin I would wear less contrast and less saturated colors.
Looking forward to see what new outfits you 'find' in your closet with this new hair color.

Gorgeous! I love the way the new colour brings out your eyes.
