Has anyone bought anything recently that has become a new essential? Eta-a new type of thing rather than an updated version.

Here's my two:
Long puffer. Though this winter has been really mild, how did I live without this on cold days? I have a warm faux shearling coat, but it's not long or loose enough to layer long cardis under it- so have to carry them seperately. Even though I don't wear olive as a neutral, the brown fur goes with my cognac purse so feels pulled together.

Burgundy tall boots. My burgundy ankle boots get a ton of wear, for work and weekends, but chop up the leg line with skirts and dresses. These tall boots solve that, add warmth, plus are good for tucking ponte pants in on the weekends. The heel is the perfect height for every day, and they're dressy enough for formal work events too. Plus they're a good pairing with my brown pants too.
