Thanks ladies! This bag got so much attention - people asked me where I got it all day. I think it's the cheery and unusual,color. also happy with the just right size although I will need a separate bag for lunch and mittens and hat.
Una, this is the sort of bag I'd call the winter sun It is noticeable for the right reasons - it makes everyone smile. It actually reminded me that 2 winters ago I felt so starved of colour and brightness in the middle of the grey, cold, dull long winter theat I had a fixation on yellow bag. And I found it, but also started figuring out how important certain colours are to me.

You know what's awesome about a bag like this in a funktastic color? It doesn't have to "match" or "go" with your outfit. It can be it's own little pop of sunshine. I bought an emerald green bag just for this little pop of fun. I don't own any other green clothes, so it always stands out on it's own.
