Good thread because Neutrogena just discontinued my favorite lotion which was a companion to the Body Oil that Echo showed. I got it in large pump bottles at Rack for years. Very sad, and now need to try new things. I use, and like, the Body Oil too, but it does get on clothing if not fully absorbed, so need to be careful.

I'm using The Naked Bee- citron and honey. It smells yummy and isn't heavy, it's good for summer.

I’m a huge fan of Skin Trip and buy it in bulk, but I’m not sure if it’s available in Canada. Also agree with suntiger on the Naked Bee stuff…it smells amazing and I often pick some up when I’m at the nursery. (I don’t know why Naked Bee is always sold in plant stores and botanic gardens, but I’m not opposed.)

I swear by Paula's Choice AHA body lotion. I find that the exfoliating does more for my dry skin than any lotion ever.

It doesn't smell the best, but the odor doesn't linger and again...it RULES.

The only thing I've had any luck with is actual petroleum jelly or something like Working Hands. I shave a lot of the hair off of me because I ride bicycles. I doubt women have this problem and you won't find it mentioned much online, even in cycling forums. But, with some types of spandex fabric, hair will work it's way right through the weave and literally stick out of the fabric. I figure screw that so I shave every bit of hair off of me. But that leads to razor burn and dry skin so I had to get serious about dealing with it. It's a serious issue you can itch till you scratch holes in yourself. Petroleum jelly is the best thing I have found. Of course there is the mineral oil that people drink as a laxative. I can't stand the kind they use on babies because of the stupid perfume they put in it, I can't stand the smell of that stuff. The problem with mineral oil is that it's even greasier than petroleum jelly despite being much, much thinner so it makes an oily mess. If it would just drain off and leave me mostly dry I've day dreamed of just having a pool of that stuff and just dip myself in it after I getting out of the shower to not have to take all the time rubbing stuff on me in the morning. To be 100% guaranteed free of any dry skin anywhere would be awesome, no missed spots anywhere, ever and never itch again. My third choice, Working Hands is supposed to be so much on fixing problem cracked skin but it really isn't all it's made out to be. I will say it is not greasy at all which I like and if my skin isn't too dry I prefer to use that.
