Gorgeous new friend. Yes, waterproof footwear. When I forget, well... I can keep myself out of the mud, but I always come away from the dog park with muddy dog prints on my boots.

Yes, definitely clothes for walking her....and some tolerance. I came to London wearing my navy and black colour block coat. Only once I got here did I see all the white and mocha hairs on it; we have a chocolate point Siamese cat.
I actually have a dog-walking capsule because I spend so much time walking my dog. Living in Canada makes it impossible to have it any other way! Maybe we can chat capsule items sometime!
Shelby is beautiful. Rescue dogs are the best! Be sure and search the site, because Angie has written some very specific posts in the past. They're very helpful. And remember to think about dog hair shedding fabrics. Another reason that the Leith track pants are so splendid.
So, so adorable! And so sad about how her previous owners treated her. Why on earth do some people get dogs? Anyway, she will start a new, loving, stimulating life with you.
I have an extensive doggie capsule for my walks with our rescue dog. I wear things on walks I would never wear anywhere else (e.g., a bright tomato red North Face windbreaker, a baseball cap, a fanny pack sort of thing full of treats and poop bags....). I have specific shoes, jeans, boots, etc. for walking him.

Jonesy- we have had a hard time believing people could actually treat such a loving and affectionate dog with such thoughtlessness and cruelty. All I can say is she was meant for us and we are so happy to have her. She will have a great life with us. It's good to know that I don't have to meet YLF fashion standards for Shelby's exercise because I would ruin my clothes!
