This year, just like every year, I tell myself I’ll mainly just observe. HA! Resolve disappears quickly as you all and Angie drill down to find the winners.
My retired lifestyle is very casual...tramping around in the woods, gardening, bird watching, outdoor concerts. These days I spend as little time in the city as possible. My personal NAS tradition is to buy a Patagonia item each year at NAS....I love the ethics of the brand, the items are very functional for me, and they last forever.
This year I scored a “better sweater” in the off white oat color. Normally I size up for Patagonia, but didn’t need to this time. Next up were the booties in the finds...too maximal for me, so back they went.
The cashmere sweater in the coral color is soft, lovely and fit well. A keeper. Also the skinny cargo pants in green work...I sized up as I guessed at my size, so mine are less fitted than the photo.
The Kuts were a disappointment, as others have discussed. I don’t want skinnies, they’re going back.
Lastly, my wildcard is the faux leather moto with hoody in green. I love it, and it fits well. Yay!
A huge shout out to Angie for her generous advice during NAS, and to everyone who shared their personal shopping experiences.
