This is the post for the things I'm thrilled with! In case it helps others considering these items.
First off, the Born Adia booties (1 and 2). Love, love, love, love! The size 11 arrived today, but I also have size 10.5 on the way because so many reviewers said they ran a little big. I think I will be happier with the 11. I also ordered the burgundy color for comparison ... kept thinking about it. The brown will be hard to beat though.
The Hinge blouse (also in 1 and 2) was a long shot for me -- almost didn't try it because I have a poor track record with both sleeved blouses and the boho look. And the color brown, for that matter. But somehow this ended up being perfect! I got the size S.
The blue Caslon blazer was the second thing to arrive (after the Munro Drew booties, which didn't work). I was thrilled with it and wore it the next day -- thanks to aggressive AC (and mild winters) this is a four-season garment for me. I ended up getting blue, red and gray and figured I'd send the red back (it was the only one in stock when I first ordered) because it's the least versatile color. But then the red arrived and it was significantly smaller -- and a much better fit than the blue. I really, really don't want to send it back. Maybe the gray will go back -- it hasn't arrived yet. If it fits like the blue, it's definitely history. If it's like the red ... I'll have to think about it. Since I wore the blue one I can't send it back! That said, until I saw the red, I was happy with the fit of the blue one. It has a nice slouchy 80s vibe IMO.
The NYDJ trouser jeans (5) may not be everyone's thing but were a no-brainer for me -- I love wide-leg jeans whether they're trending or not, and the trouser styling of these means they can be dressed up a little. They are too long which so I'll need to decide where to hem them. I tried sizes 4 and 6 and kept the 4s which is my usual size in NYDJ.
