I hope you post pics of you in the leggings with this keeper dress! I love that look and have never ventured there. I used to wear that style years ago when it was "in" then, primarily to stay warmer in the winter but it always felt comfortable and sporty. Lotsa love of this dress on you!

I think that with a more voluminous dress, this shorter length is much easier than a longer length which risks looking dowdy with leggings . In fact, I'd actually prefer mine an inch or so shorter. I feel like knee covering dresses with leggings is redundant. Of course, this is why all the shorter dresses I wear in winter with leggings and tights feel a bit skimpy in summer, but summer is not my dominant season anyway.

Huge recommendation for the Spanx leggings. The Lysse also work great for me but I see not for you.

Unbelievable. My advice? Wear it while you still can, Suz. You look stunning. I was pining for that dress, but knew in my heart of hearts that my over-the-knee dress days have passed. You are a very smart shopper with a fabulous wardrobe, and I admire your careful consideration process. I would add this in a heartbeat -- you will wear it for years to come.

1 - the color and cut are real winners for you
2 - the sheer sleeves are gorgeous combination of covered and alluring
3 - I think the length is fine if you are comfortable with it. I find that the dresses and skirts a bit short in the front are fine as long as the back is longer and the overall look is sophisticated. What is wrong with knees anyway?!
So this is your wild card, Mrs. Suz - wear it and enjoy. And you can always look to the trusted Danier for some cool leather leggings!
