I picked up the Me Too Lightning wedges in bordeaux:

And here's the link to the much-better-photographed version on the Nordstrom's website:

Wow! Such great purchases! I want to see them modeled when it cools :0)

April, did you try the Charles David Regiment boots? They might fit your calves. I have 13 inch calves and they fit mine really well over jeans.

I bought the SW OTK boots. That's all.

Frances. Those are gorgeous!!!

Here are my boots...Clearly~ over the knee ~ as shown on the left...folded over on the right. I like them both ways and will utilize the versatility of them:)

Off to scrub the horrible mirror ...who knew till the flash hit ...yuk!!

AMAZED, I have a 10 inch calf and these fit me well, so those with smaller calfs and like a heel...they are super comfy!!!

Taylor! Those boots are so classy, so perfectly you!

KILLER Frances and Taylor!

Taylor, I know that you prefer them cuffed, but I *really* like those boots un-cuffed :0). They fit well because they are slouchy. What would us narrow calved gals do without slouch boots? Its a saving fit grace.

Angie , You are 100% right. I played around with them today and MUCH prefer them uncuffed. They come well over the knee and are really sleek looking.

I was originally hesitant because I was wearing a dress when I bought them, and looked better cuffed...but I don't plan on wearing them with a dress,

I can't wait to wear them over the knee this winter with "that" new trench of mine!!!

Sounds like a KILLER combination, Taylor! I'm excited too.

Frances, what's this nonsense about skinnies making you "look like a hot air balloon perched above Big Bird's wrinkled legs". I bet you look killer in skinnes - with those new wedges.

Taylor! I love the boots with jeans. I agree with you, too - look fab uncuffed!!

Thanks Rosie:)

Angie, what would we do without your wisdom!!

Taylor, you have the tiniest legs of anyone I've ever known. We may be "body doubles' in other regards but I do not have your dainty thighs, for sure. (I may be sending you my white R&S skinnies, which I fear make that fact a little too apparent.)

Angie, I did not try on the Regiment boots. If they fit a 13-inch calf with jeans, my guess is they're about 14 inches and will gap too much. Because I can't wear jeans to work, I mostly wear my boots with skirts and dresses and need a sleek fit.

I look forward to filling the "basic black boots for skirts" wardrobe gap so I can start hunting for cool boots to go with jeans!

Ohhh, why did I click some of these links?! Why can't I buy ALL the shoes?!!!!

Taylor, those boots are KILLER on you. Between you and Laura, now I get how the OTK look is supposed to work. You both rock it!

Frances, I love those red wedges on you.

Greenglove, those Seychelles are a great color and a sleek design, but I wonder about the heel. If you thought the Raasas were going to be too high...good luck, I hope they work out!

Sarah, SIGH. I should know never to click your links. I am so full of shoe envy afterward I can barely breathe! Those MK Greenwich booties are going to be me "one that got away", I can tell.

Patience, what I love about your style is that you always find the pieces that I absolutely adore but don't have the style or the cojones to wear. Those Nine West Gianne boots are a perfect example; they have no place in my closet but they are so great they make me dream about having a totally different life so I could have them. I am going to enjoy seeing them on you this fall!

My CE peep-toe booties arrived today. I feel the need for a bit of a shoe fashion show to try them all out!

Stopped by NAS and picked up these:

They remind me of another heeled version so popular on the forum gals. I'm tall and have bad feet so hope these will work, and hope I can figure out how to wear them properly.

I have been wanting a cheetah print shoe, seems so versatile! We are shoe twins, Kristen
