I was invited to look and touch some NAS items today. All samples. Most in a size Medium. The retailer buyers brought them down since Seattle is the flagship store - store #1 - and the head office is in the same building.

I saw some of the items on my wishlist: the Rails Josephine blouse, which runs big, and the WAYF polo. Loved both! I think they will be winners. (Pic #28)

Generally, things looked good! (Despite a muted palette, and very safe silhouettes). Not much risk taking. Lots of browns, blues, greys, and earth tones. I don’t think that’s unreasonable giving the economic climate.

Stand out brands from this session were:

Zella, Bernardo, Madewell, AllSaints, Pistola, Rails, Halogen, Boss, Ralph Lauren, Cinq a Sept, Paige, Avec Les Filles, Barbour, Reiss, Nordstrom, Frame, Vince, L’Agence, Treasure & Bond, and Wit & Wisdom.

Veronica Beard was disappointing.

I didn’t see as many of the coats and jackets because the buyers hadn’t brought them down yet.
