Puffers in good colours are a winner too - and often a bit tricky to fit.

Thanks all! I have had a good NAS especially considering I wanted to limit my buying this year. I have started to acknowledge that I won't go to the office more than twice a week, if that, and some of the stuff I wear less will need to fall away by gradual attrition. Sweaters and a light water resistant puffer will get worn, though. And the need for dressy flat shoes was real, as I'd been struggling with that wardrobe hole for a while.

(That said, it's really by summer wardrobe that is too stuffed, and to some extent the shoulder season one - the cold weather wardrobe is a fine size since it's needed about 7 months of the year.)

I am going to venture into the flagship later today to do some returns. I am open to something else striking my fancy but am kind of hoping nothing I want is available in my size.

You did really well - everything looks great on you. Especially love fit and color of the jacket. I bought a very similar Bernardo jacket 2 years ago in teal and have gotten so much use (and compliments) on it.

I'm in a similar position for my shopping, not much need for work wear at this point, but there are still a few wardrobe holes/things that need to be replaced.

The bits of the skirt/crop top outfit peaking out in the various photos looks like a lot of fun!

The pink sweater looks like a warmer pink in your pics than the stock photo—I think that’s why it’s so great with your coloring.

Not being able to see things in the store is irksome— colors can be off. I’m used to returning items that aren’t as expected, but it’s also probably just as well that if a color looks not great to me online, I usually pass over it and seldom know whether it might have been fab IRL.

VintageDawn - glad to hear you like the jacket two years on. I think these are my first Bernardo items, maybe? The quality seems very good and they’re both very attractive pieces.

Unfrumped - I share your frustration on colors. I’m usually not super particular, but it’s been a struggle with red. I sometimes think an item is a true red, and end up with a very orange red or even what I consider orange. Orange is fine when I want it, but it’s not red!

My coloring is also obviously very different from the model’s in this case. Maybe that makes a difference too.

Sal - yes, I am surprised and grateful the puffer fits so well. Any jacket that length can be tricky on me. Glad I grabbed one.

I agree with everyone the sweater is great on you, and the color much prettier in your photo than in the stock photo. The pants and jackets look super fab, too. Glad the shoes fit in the second size, too. It's nice to be able to pick up a few new items, even if you don't need a lot!

I am so tempted by the Deep Teal version of the FC sweater. The pink is a perfect Barbiecore piece though…
