I was a bit underwhelmed by the NAS this year. I have done my shopping online rather than in person, as in years past. Perhaps that has saved me money.

So far, I have purchased (and am eagerly awaiting the arrival of):

Josef Seiber flats in Sangria Suede- has anyone worn these? I am curious about fit and comfort. I am also trying to get a better read on the color- does it skew toward red or purple?

The Halogen cashmere wrap in black- not a need, just luxurious cashmere loveliness.

The Halogen cashmere kimono cardigan in purple nectar. I have no idea what "purple nectar" is meant to be. What is the true color?

The Paul Green Jojo loafer- I wanted the Bordeaux, but it sold out. Ordered the graphite. How is the fit and comfort?

Finally, I ordered the Frye Melissa tote in Cognac. Curious to hear thoughts of folks who have seen it in person. What do you think of the color? How rugged does it look in real life?

I wish I could answer your questions with some authority.
I haven't seen the cashmere kimono cardigan, but I have a sweater from a previous season that I think is called "purple nectar," and it is like a deep fuschia shade, more vivid than this one looks on the website.
I didn't try on the Paul Green loafers, though I have several pairs of Paul Green shoes that I love for their comfort; they just seem to work well for my feet.
I noticed the Frye crossbody in the wine color, and the leather does have a casual look. Not distressed, though.

I tried the Josef Siebel flats really quickly and they seem very comfortable. They clearly have some padding on the soles.

Hilary, I wish I could say the same about saving money! Even though I found the color selections limited and rather dull, I found this a potentially great opportunity to add to my stash of neutrals which form the backbone and backdrop for the rest of my wardrobe. Who knows what will work out though? Online shopping is a bit like using a slot machine in Vegas, in reverse

I wonder who thinks of the names for the colors of these clothes and if that person is reading this? Purple Nectar? I guess that is meant to make us think of pollen? So maybe the purple will have a warm tone?! Or, maybe nectar is the drink of the gods, so is it a regal color of purple? It must be different than plum, burgundy and Bordeaux which may imply varying shades of reds and Browns mixed with the purple. Also different than Eggplant or Aubergine! Sorry, I can't help myself sometimes. I love being a wordsmith, I should leave that to the authors on the forum.

I also ordered the loafers. I'm hoping they fit true to size. I have several pairs of Paul Green shoes and some are size 8.5, some are size 9. I ordered 8.5 and am hoping for the best. This type of shoe invariably stretches out on my foot.

Lovely choices. My feet usually don't like Paul Green (I keep telling them he's supposed to be very comfy, and they keep rolling their proverbial eyes at me). I'm making them try them anyway.

I hope the burgundy comes back n stock for you. I'd keep an eye out. Lots of stuff comes back in as people make returns.

That particular wrap is SQUARE and problematic. This one below is a million times better. It drapes to perfection.

JS flats are fab. Very comfy and stay on the foot.

The PG loafers are fab, but they do not bend. Fab for some - not for others.

I love the rich colour of the Frye bag, at least on my monitor.
It would go so nicely with the Josef Siebel flats.

I've had the Frye bag in and out of my cart this week.... Trying to break away from my preppy bag collection. Would love to know what you think of the color, more red or more brown?

So, my treasures arrived.

The Frye bag- great color and distressing; the leather has a wonderful feel. However, did not like how the straps felt/hung on my shoulder, so it is going back. Would certainly consider a different model in the same color. Color-wise it is a good brown- a dark caramel/cognac.

The Paul Green loafers in graphite- love the shape of this shoe and I think it will be very comfortable. Wish I could have gotten it in bordeaux- there is not significant difference between graphite and black.

The Josef Siebel flats in sangria- runs large; nice color, soft suede. Undecided as to whether I will keep them (especially if I could get the PG loafers in bordeaux....or maybe go a half-size down.

The cashmere kimono cardigan- purple nectar is the most unhelpful color description I can imagine (I have no idea what color nectar is). I would classify it as a solid wine color skewing slightly more to the purple end of the spectrum rather than the bricky-red end. Love the fit on my busty apple shape. Not a NEED in Texas, but a luxury on the colder winter days. A keeper.

The black cashmere wrap was a fail. As Angie said, it is square. Would be great as a throw, perhaps. It is going back and I have already ordered the model Angie suggested.

Thanks for the update and keep your eye open for the shoes to come back into stock in bordeaux.

Good choices! Maybe the Paul Greens will become available in bordeaux in your size. I would check after opening of the regular sale!
