NAS previews available!

All in one day: I met a women who works in women's shoes at Nordstrom who filled me on the trends for the Anniversary Sale. Then, I get home and there's my email with preview code and link. (Lots of charcoal loveliness, which, unfortunately, is NOT in my palette.) I made a favorites list and copied it off, since they can't save it (?). Anyone else get started on this?

I'm so sorry, everyone. I looked at my email and it asked me not to share my code. I do recommend getting on the email list if you're at all interested in the sale.

Hmm, my shopper told me they're sending emails to cardholders on Monday and that there would be a code to use to log in to see the catalog online. But Susan is right, you need to make sure someone at Nordie's has your email address. Also, this is only for cardholders.

Susan, thanks for the heads-up! I guess I have to chomp at the bit for two more days till my email code comes. Thrilled to hear there's lots of charcoal . . . .

thanks sparky, i'm not planning to become a cardholder, opening a credit card while trying to buy a house doesn't make sense, even for a NAS preview! i always browse once the sale starts and have never had a problem

Mellls -- but you can get the Nordstrom debit card, which doesn't have a credit check at all... so it won't affect your house buying!

thanks for the info marianna! i didn't know that. how does a nordstrom debit card work? is it attached to a bank that you already have? i actually have been meaning to get a nordstrom's card though so i think i'd rather wait. im saving money for our closing at this point anyway.

I got the email yesterday and it had me pause for a moment--it came from Nordstrom Credit Services instead of the regular Nordstrom email addy. They asked for email address to go with the code.

I spent the time to go through the website. I need to touch and feel fabrics though--I look forward to seeing the goodies in person.

I do know I'm getting lots of new underwear and some new Paige jeans. I was disappointed in the Stuart Weitzman shoe selection too--didn't see anything much I could wear and the ones I could wear looked frumpy. (No high heels for me.) Again, in person I might change my tune.

In case this helps someone, I just found out that if you are a level 2 (or higher) Nordies cardholder, you would have received a packet in the beginning of the year about your level; in that packet there is a code that you can enter at the website http://www.nordstrom.com/earlyaccess . Alternately, you can just call Nordstrom Credit Services, they'll verify your level and send you an access code for early preview.
