I have a couple more to do will finish up tomorrow - hope this helps some.

Such fun to see everyone's comments!

I second Kari's recommendation for the grey Sejour leather jacket. It's got a great shape, and its trim fit and shorter length makes it work over dresses or long tops. I surprised myself by pairing it with this pleated apricot top and a pair of skinny jeans.

I love olive green and found two sweaters. The long sleeved one can be worn as a cowl neck or off the shoulders. I'll wear it as a cowl neck. This sleeveless tunic was nice too. They're both much better in orperson than the pictures.

I also liked the white tipped bell sleeved sweater- I think you recommended this already in a misses size, Angie. (Or a similar one from another line.)

Finally, not a top but my pick for an on trend jean to refresh my denim capsule were these Kut from the Kloth step hem skinnies.

Hope this helps!

Thanks so much for the 411, very helpful to have real-life assessments!

Thank you all so much for sharing your try-ons. The Providence Nordstrom Encore department is ...thin....lol. I am already on my 3rd order trying to fill some holes in my fall wardrobe.

WOW. Thank you. Frannie and Nadya, you ROCK.

okay my last round of things I have tried on

I have included everything not just top picks because I have such a specific aesthetic for my dressing because of my body shape and extreme pear. What I consider a top pick may not work for others and vice versa.

*to be noted I have not tried on a single long topper sweater because those are not my jam. Hopefully others will fill in the gap on longer toppers.

Gray EF sweater - gorgeous, I find all EF tops run big. It is the Basic EF cut which is boxy. Hit my hips in a good place.

Vince Camuto top in pink or black - This is beautiful the fabric is great. I tried on a 1X and was swimming in it. You have to be good with extra fabric and this is a drama top if ever there was. Not a good fit for this pear shaped body.

Marina Rinaldi - Gorgeous top her stuff is just beautiful. I love that Nordstroms sells her stuff now. Fit me true to size. Wonderful blouse to dress up all those black and grey toppers I own.

EF Asymmetrical sweater - So sad this was not a good fit for me. I felt it ran large. It looked somewhat sloppy on me and where the asymmetrical part hit on me was the widest part of my hips. If you are pear shaped skip this sweater.

NYDJ layers sweater - A beautiful sweater. Looked sloppy and to baggy on me. Though in the dressing room I saw this top tried on by ladies with an apple shape in the dressing room and it looked gorgeous on them. (In cased you haven't noticed - I turn the dressing room into a party)

EF moto pants - I enjoy EF pants I did not like how these looked in real life. They look just like the picture. Tight in the thigh and loose around the knee and calf. I just didn't like the look. The Sejour ones are the ones for the win if you are a plus size gal.

The Vince Camuto tipped sleeve top as others have mentioned is gorgeous. I just happened to find a straight size top with peplum that was my jam. (It has me a peplum - with my shape peplum is my friend in so many ways)

The Eliza Jay floral dress - This thing is gorgeous. Fit my pear shaped body beautifully. The color was a real wild card color for me so I passed.

There is another dress I bought but it isn't online. I will try to get a pic of myself tonight and share.

YOU ARE ALL AMAZING. I want to go shopping with you.

Angie everything I learned about shopping and dressing the body I have came from you and the fab. members on this blog.

It's lovely to be able to give back a little for all I've learned from YLF! And you just gave me the idea to wear that bell sleeved sweater with the long black gilet from a previous NAS!

Frannie and Nadya, your words warmed my heart.

*group hug*

Good idea, Nadya! I have both of those pieces.

Thank you ladies, I enjoyed your reviews.
