I live in a very cold climate, so my cashmere sweaters get a real workout. I had purchased 2 v-neck cashmere sweaters from halogen 2 years ago, and they pilled to pieces in less than a year. I keep them around for weekends, but they must be depilled after every wear.

I took a chance on these as I wanted to see the quality of the cashmere, and I have a strong love for the asymmetrical look.

These sweaters fit well across the top, but were very unflattering across my pear shaped lower half. I can't do sweater dresses for much the same reason. They most assuredly did not hang on me as they do the models.

I have purchased asymmetrical tops from Karen Kane and Eileen Fisher made out of less substantial material that looked far better.

These are going back for me. Not sure they would do well on other pears, but perhaps my experience was the outlier.
