NAS #1: Quick try in session

From the fitting room: some hits, some items that were just ok. Not photographed: NYDJ plaid pants that were cute but nowhere as nice as the Kut skinnies. Also got bra fitted. Several more items not in store (including Maggy London dress) ordered. My mom tried the Maggy London midi and looks stunning, but she’s not sure she’d wear it enough to justify.

The entire outfit in #3, the pants in #5, and the shirt in #6 are fab. I hope you got all of them. What did you think of everything?

Spot on, Kathie! The faux-shearling vest is my wildcard. Angie was right about the Kut skinnes-they are magic!

So I was disappointed when shopping the App on Thursday that not many items I was interested in were available in pluses in stores, but there was a lot to choose from. Lots of fun tops and dresses. I didn’t try any dresses in store but have two on order, plus a Moto jacket. The green removable hood jacket was a poor fit for my curves and actually didn’t feel very high quality compared to my forest green Moto jacket from 2015, so I’m ok leaving it on the rack.

The jacket in #3 is fab on you. The green jacket has promise but seems a little tight.

It’s hard to see in pics, but #3 is actually a vest over the sweater from #2. All of those items came home, including Kut skinnies, the burgundy tee shirt with blousey sleeves, green cropped pants, the necklace, gold crossbody bag, 2 camisoles, and several bras.

Thanks! I didn’t manage to photograph the NYDJ plaid pants. They were nice, but not as friendly to curvy/wide hips as other NYDJ pants I’ve tried. The leg was wider/more flared than it looked on the website.

I like everything except for the forest green moto jacket -- it doesn't look high quality to me. Although could just be the photo.

How did you like the blouson sleeved pink blouse?

The forest green Moto jacket didn’t feel high quality to me, either. Even though it obviously wasn’t cut well for my body... the material also felt kind of stiff and cheap compared to other pleather jackets I’ve purchased. Great color, but otherwise, pass.

I LOVED the blouson sleeved “drama” blouse. Very comfortable, feel like it will be a very easy piece to wear.

Hi! Great stuff. How was the sizing for you on the KUT skinnies? I ordered a pair and hope I picked the right size. That little bag is intriguing too!

The burgundy top is fab, as are the plaid pants and vest.
To me, the green moto looks pretty darn good! But do you have other green motos?

I think the first top is too big, right?

Smittie, I think the first top (sweatshirt) just isn’t my favorite cut - it’s not too big all over, a size down looks too small, but too large in places. I was ok passing on that in favor of the black sweater in 2-3.
