I've had a busy year and have dropped off of the YLF forum for a while (though still keeping up with the blog, of course), but the NAS has lured me back. It's so much fun to read about/see everyone's choices.

I'm limiting (let's say curating) my purchases this year but have ordered a few things to try on. With the bonus points thing happening today, I'm extra glad I did!

Here are my picks.

I've only actually ordered the first three—the lavender grey dress, the lavender wrap coat, and the metallic rain coat. The dress is my top pick, so I hope it works when I try it on.

I have more coats than I need, it's hard to justify buying more, but I think that lavender coat over the grey dress will make such a polished outfit, especially with tall grey suede boots that I already own.

The jury will be out on the raincoat until I've seen the color in person. I love the bronze shade it appears to be in the photo, so I'm hoping it won't turn out to be too pink. It will go back if it is. I love pink but I have enough. I bought a TopShop pink trench coat at last year's NAS. Or maybe that was the year before.

The other items are still under consideration. I've been looking for a pair of white slip-on sneaks, so these might fit the bill. I think they'd be great with the dress for a more casual look.

I LOVE the drape-y asymmetrical Caslon jacket but they're out of my size. I may call my local store to see if they have it in stock. I've actually done that successfully several times with items that are sold out online, including just today with the dress, so maybe that will be a helpful tip for others. It's especially likely to work early in the NAS, when people are shopping online but may be slower to get to the store.

I really love the cashmere hoodie as well... I may have to at least try it on. Both that and the Caslon jacket would be great over yoga clothes, which is a wardrobe essentials category for me.

I'm on the fence about the Theory jacket and pants. I think they are super great and they would kind of fulfill my fantasy that I'm the star of a French film, but I'm not sure I'd get enough wear out of them in real life to justify the price. I might have to at least try them on, though.
