Really fascinating. Can't wait to see how it turns out.

Shevia, lol!! Maybe that will be for the next staycation

Jussie, yes - they recommend a fit, but then you can request certain modifications to sleeve length, pant rise, pant length, bust-line, etc. that would enable you to create a more fitted or fluid look. I didn't investigate this too thoroughly however, but definitely there was some flexibility.

Intriguing! Please keep us posted!:-)

Another question, have you checked the measurements which came up on the app with your own measured ones?

Lyn - I didn't check them all, but I did spot check a few key ones (bust, waist, hips) and they seemed pretty accurate. Same with DH. I was sort of keen to test how well the process does without my help, if that makes sense!

This is so cool, it will be fun to see how they work out. What a good sport you are to try this which is something that I am not even mentioning to my husband (yet), because he would be all over it!

So intriguing, and fun and interesting. It will be fun to see how this service develops.

Are you left handed by chance?

So so cool! I can’t wait to see how it turns out.

I'm not Sal but I'm dying to know why you ask??

So sci fi-ish!

Ha! My husband just told me about this about a week ago. He does not care about fashion in the least, but he was very intrigued by the whole thing, as am I. Can't wait to see how the clothes turn out!

Just that your left arm and leg are fractionally bigger than your right - so I wondered if you were left dominant. I suspect we are all like this.

I think my right arm would be stronger and bigger than my right as with my leg - I am very right dominant with sports and at the gym....

Yes, I noticed that too! Not left handed but my left side is my weird side ... For example, I only get eczema on my left side. Weird!

Wow. I could see so many applications for this -- fitted dresses, tailored suits -- and they are using it to make T shirts and sweaters? Aren't those pretty foolproof /forgiving in terms of fit?

Anyway can't wait to see your finished items.

Oh wait -- what if you twinned this with a 3D printer? (Because I imagine it's the one-off manufacturing, not the measuring, that drives up the cost.) Although this is not unlike Poppy Barley shoes.

Computer? Earl Grey tea, hot.

Wouldn't that be lovely - tea on demand!

I do believe there is some sort of 3D printing-esque technology involved - whereby they can upload the dimensions and a machine produces the garment (this quote from the Daily Mail: "Maezawa said Zozo was considering working with Shima Seiki Mfg Ltd, whose whole-garment knitting machines can produce seamless items of clothing, that company's shares jumped as much as 16 percent before closing up 5.2 percent.")

I agree that tops are more forgiving and am curious whether I feel the crewneck sweater (my #1 wardrobe essential, tied with skinny jeans) is that much better for being customized - but I do recall that Jennifer Aniston said she tailors all her basic t-shirts, which is why they look so great on her - so we shall see! Maybe I'll look like Jennifer Aniston when I'm done lol!!!!
