My Shoe Collection...Let's see yours!

On a whim, I decided to get all my shoes out of my closet and take a picture of them. I love my shoes, and I'm bummed I'm not able to wear my heels more often. I'm trying to build my flat collection to be as strong and great as my heel collection. However, I really am happy that every shoe in my closet is a shoe I love!

(missing are 2 pairs of boots and 2 pairs of shoes which are getting fixed)

Amy love all your heels. Mine are all in clear boxes so just photographed the bottom of my wardrobe, will pull out a couple of my favourites and post later x

My shoe wardrobe is rather small right now- I went down in shoe size (width and length) with the weight loss, so I am hesitant to buy too many more pairs until I am at goal (just in case it changes again).

I just realized that my bronze gladiator wedge heeled sandals are missing from that picture. I didn't realize that every pair of shoes is some kind of neutral, but with a small shoe wardrobe that is what has worked out.

I love this challenge, but I am very afraid of it. I don't think my shoes would fit in one shot! LOL.

Maybe if I just do the seasonal shoes...hmmm...

Been meaning to post this but just found the time to photograph my collection. I have too many shoes but together they all look like a muddy sea of black (muddy because of the brown :-D)

Here's my collection.

Oops, I left out my lone pair of boots! They're really plain old mid-calf length black boots by Diba. Oh, and Angie, please excuse my green born shoes, they don't look too hot but are SO comfy and get better with age. They have been replaced by the Nadias but I can't let them go!

Mostly black, brown and some tan. I really need some fun shoes, really, really need some. Now.

Okay, now I feel better about the size of my collection!

I see a lot of black strappy heels! Do you wear those a lot, or are those one-time shoes that don't get a lot of rotation?

Kristen, except for a few pairs, I actually *do* wear most of them. I've always ended up keeping the comfortable shoes, giving away the uncomfortable ones. The only pair I have not been able to bring myself to give away are the really high strappy ones from Ann Taylor - second from the left, front row. The 3 pairs of shoes (from right, back row) are 2-4 hr shoes that I wear when we go out in the evening to the pub/restaurant. The Nine West pumps (third from the right, third row) are the most uncomfortable. I bought them in a rush the night before an interview. All others are either Aerosoles, Naturalizer or Nine West and are quite comfortable.

DH finds this all very funny and is comparing notes with his BF about their wives' shopping habits using this picture!

Very few boots I see. Vani is off the hook cause she lives in Florida. Euro gals Rute and Loulou – no boots? Boots are my favourite type of shoe.

I have lots of boots but I'm moving next month and most of my winter shoes are already in boxes, I have ankle boots and high boots (in camel, black, all with high heels and pointy toes).

That’s more like it Euro gals! Fab boots, loulou. I have grey boots too – and several pairs of black and cream. I LOVE boots. Have been looking for chestnut boots for a year – no luck. Hopefully in the next couple of months.
